RAIL LUBRICATION

Lubrication system - The lubricant tanks capacity is 1200 liters. Two loading modules on both sides of the car ensure the loading of lubricant drums, with a total capacity of 2 m³. Filling system filters rule out the grease contamination. Each of the supply tanks is equipped with instruments for determining the amount of mixing for the lubricant. The turnaround run for a single filling with lubricant is up to 5000 km. Specific consumption of lubricant per 1 km of curved rail being lubricated is 0.15-0.35 l regardless of the car speed.

Rail lubricating installation - It has a hydraulic lubricant supply (main and backup), with pneumatic lubricant supply. The installation includes:

  • refilling system;

  • two supply tanks for lubrication;

  • compressor with a receiver;

  • automatic lubricant supply system to the nozzle with the ability to control from GPS/GLONASS or gyroscopic pickup (as a backup control);

  • nodes of lubricant supply to rails, with heating system of

  •  external pipeline and nozzles.

Advantages

  • Unique lubricant supply system;

  • Low specific consumption of lubricant per 1 km of rail being lubricated;

  • Long turnaround run with a single filling with lubricant (up to 5000 km);

  • Automatic lubricant supply system to the nozzle with the ability to control from GPS/GLONASS or gyroscopic pickup;

  • Heating system for lubrication supply units;

  • Video surveillance system for monitoring the application of lubricant.
